SCOTT FOUND
OWNER
President

Scott graduated from Brentsville District High School and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He joined the family funeral firm in 1991. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Culpeper, a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, past president and was named Rotarian of the Year twice, once in 1995 and again in 1999. He also received the Culpeper Colonels Award, Culpeper County’s highest citizen service award, and was given the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year award for 2001. He is also the recipient for the Culpeper County Schools Golden Apple Award in 2005. Scott was named Culpeper Citizen Coach of the Year in 2006, Free Lance Star Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2007 and was one of eight coaches in the U.S. selected for the 2007 U.S. Lacrosse Senior All-Star Showcase in Denver, CO. Scott has volunteered coaching lacrosse in Culpeper and Stafford for the past 13 years. Scott was married to Ashleigh J. Norris of Culpeper in 2008.

 
SAM FOUND
OWNER
Secretary/Treasurer

Sam was born in Bilborough, England, and educated at Elon College in North Carolina. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1987 and is the co-founder of Found and Sons Funeral Homes and Affordable Funeral Services.

Sam was past president of the Virginia Funeral Directors Board. He also received the Culpeper Colonels Award in 2001, which is Culpeper County’s highest citizen service award. His dedication to community service includes having served on many boards, including the American Heart Association, the Piedmont United Way, the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, and several others.
 
 

ASHLEIGH NORRIS FOUND
Funeral Director/Manager

Ashleigh is a native of Culpeper County. She graduated from Culpeper County High School in June of 1999 and shortly afterwards joined our staff in July. She graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2003 and is a licensed Funeral Director and Manager of the Culpeper location. Ashleigh is a member of Culpeper Baptist Church, a volunteer with Rappahannock-Rapidan Medical Reserve Corp, Culpeper Chapter for Aging Together and serves on the Board for Culpeper County Lacrosse Association. Ashleigh and her husband Scott were married in July of 2008.

FRANK J. DOOLEY, JR.
Funeral Director

Frank joined Found and Sons in September of 2007 coming from Cranford, New Jersey where he was a part owner in his family’s business working as a funeral director with thirty years of service. Frank graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s College and then went on to earn his Mortuary Science degree from McAllister Academy in New York City.

He and his wife, Aileen, and two daughters, Bridgette and Molly, live in Jeffersonton along with their two dogs, Bailey and Dublin. They love the country life and look forward to many enjoyable years here in Culpeper County.

JOE MISKO
Funeral Director

Joe transferred from our Culpeper facility to the Fredericksburg location in 1998 and is now the manager and funeral director of our newest location, Found and Sons Lee Chapel in Manassas. He has been a funeral service professional for over 15 years. Joe is a resident of Fredericksburg and has an 18 year old son, Will, who is attending Elon University in North Carolina. He is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce.

STEPHEN HOWARD
Funeral Director

Stephen joined our Fredericksburg staff in August of 2006. He is a veteran of the US Navy. He graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in 1998. He is a member of the Lion’s Club International and the Louisa Moose Lodge. He is also a member of the American Legion Post #116 and a co-owner of American Warriors.

RICHARD CADGER
Funeral Director

Richard is a native of Fredericksburg. He was born at Mary Washington Hospital and a graduate of Courtland High School in Spotsylvania. Richard joined the firm in 2001 where he began his Mortuary Science Education and is now a licensed funeral director.

Richard resides in Fredericksburg and is a lifelong member of Redeemer Lutheran Church as well as a supporter of his local SPCA.


KATHERINE KILPATRICK-WILSON

Katherine joined Found and Sons in 2004 and is our funeral director who specializes in pre-arranging funerals. She will be happy to meet with you in your home or at either one of our funeral chapels. She moved from North Carolina were she attended East Carolina University and graduated from mortuary school in 1997. She began her career in the funeral service following the sudden death of her first husband in 1995 and has been a licensed funeral director since 1997. Katherine, her husband, Donnie and their menagerie of animals live on their mini-farm in Bumpass, VA.

 
JOHNNY PRICE
Funeral Assistant
Monument Manager

Johnny is a native of Culpeper County. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1965, and served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. After an Honorable Discharge in 1969, Johnny joined the Culpeper Police Department and served the citizens of the Town of Culpeper from 1969 to1972. He then went on to serve the Vienna Police Department in Vienna, Virginia from 1972 until he retired as Deputy Chief of Police in 2005. Johnny and his wife, Madeline, have a son, daughter and five grandchildren. Johnny joined the Culpeper staff in August 2006. He is our Monument and Memorial Manager, assisting families in the selection of gravestones and markers. Johnny is a member and Deacon of Good Hope Baptist Church in Madison County. He is also a graduate and member of the FBI National Academy, member of the Masons, VFW Post 2524, American Legion, FOP, and Virginia State Crime Prevention Association


CHRIS MINNIS
Funeral Assistant

Chris was born and raised in Culpeper. He graduated from Culpeper County High School in 1983 and attended Germanna Community College, majoring in business and general studies. After college, he took on a career in land surveying for nearly 20 years. He joined the Found and Sons staff of Culpeper in July of 2007 as a funeral assistant with future plans including apprenticeship and schooling to become a funeral director.


DONNA DYER
Accounting Coordinator

Donna joined us in 1997 and serves as the Accounting Coordinator for Culpeper, Fredericksburg and Manassas locations. She and her husband, Jimmy live in Madison, Virginia with their two daughters, Maci and Meagan. Donna stays very busy with her daughters, who both play Fastpitch softball. She is a Life Member of the Orange County Rescue Squad and attends Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Donna is also a volunteer with the Rappahannock–Rapidan Medical Reserve Corp.

CHRISTINA DAVIS
Office Manager – Culpeper

Christina has lived in Culpeper since 1992 and is a 2001 graduate of Culpeper County High School. She joined our Found and Sons Culpeper staff in February of 2006 as our Office Manager and takes great pride in assisting the families that Found and Sons has the privilege of serving. She and her daughter Mackenzie reside in Culpeper.


TERESA FRANKLIN
Office Manager – Fredericksburg

Teresa is much more than our Office Manager, as she takes on many other administrative and client service responsibilities. She lives in King George with her three children, and is a volunteer for Hospice Support Care. Teresa also is an active member of the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce.
